Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Familiarity with applicable civil engineering codes and standards such as ACI, ASTM, and AASHTO. Experience using AutoCAD or similar computer-aided drafting and design software. Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) methods and applications. Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization to a nuclear power plant or other NRC-licensed facility. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering. Nuclear industry experience. Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Fundamentals of Engineering (FE), or Professional Engineer (PE) certification. Experience supporting large-scale civil infrastructure or heavy construction projects. Knowledge of construction methods, site development, and reinforced concrete design.
