Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering. 5+ years of experience in piping support engineering. Knowledge of pipe support hardware and thermal expansion effects. Familiarity with piping stress analysis outputs. Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and MSS standards. Experience with SmartPlant 3D, PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation. Ability to perform support calculations and MTOs. Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nuclear or heavy industrial projects, including ASME Section III (NF) pipe supports. Knowledge of dynamic supports (snubbers, seismic). Familiarity with FEA tools such as ANSYS, STAAD.Pro and/or GT-STRUDL. Ability to use Lisega LICAD software to produce vendor support assemblies.
