The Core Mandate
Leadership says "what needs to happen." This person figures out "how" and makes it happen.
They are the execution engine of the leadership team, working across engineering, design, marketing, sales, compliance, finance, and ops by coordinating directly with all team leads.
What They'll Actually Do
- Take strategic priorities from the Director/CEO and break them into executable plans with owners, timelines, and milestones
- Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into project health across teams
- Identify and clear roadblocks before they become bottlenecks
- Drive system migrations and operational improvements
- Bring new ideas for execution and process improvement
- Be the single thread that connects all functions so nothing falls through the cracks
The #1 Non-Negotiable (Highest Weightage): AI Fluency
- Must actively use AI tools for personal productivity (tracking, reporting, automating workflows)
- Must proactively identify and implement AI opportunities across company operations
Must-Have Filters
- Startup, founder, or strong tech company PM background (no consulting firms, no IT services like TCS/Infosys)
- People management experience (must have managed teams before)
- Cross-functional delivery experience (has worked across eng, product, ops, business teams)
- Proven track record of taking ambiguous mandates and driving them to measurable outcomes
- Personality: Pushes back on leadership when needed, young, dynamic, go-getter energy
Nice-to-Have
Fintech or financial services experience (not mandatory if they come from e-commerce, SaaS, healthtech, or another fast-paced industry)
