The Project Manager – Bespoke Joinery is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering custom joinery projects.
This includes managing client requirements, design coordination, production processes, and site installation while maintaining quality, cost control, and timelines.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Manage end-to-end bespoke joinery projects (residential, commercial, or hospitality)
- Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans
- Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams
Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Interpret client briefs and ensure design intent is achieved
- Provide regular updates on project progress
Design & Technical Oversight
- Review shop drawings, material specifications, and finishes
- Collaborate with designers and CAD teams to ensure feasibility
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
Production & Manufacturing
- Liaise with workshop teams to monitor fabrication progress
- Ensure efficient use of materials and resources
- Conduct quality checks throughout production
Site & Installation Management
- Coordinate delivery and installation schedules
- Supervise on-site activities and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Track costs, variations, and change orders
- Ensure profitability and cost efficiency
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all joinery works meet high craftsmanship standards
- Conduct inspections before dispatch and after installation
- Resolve defects or snagging issues promptly
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in joinery, fit-out, or woodworking projects
- Strong knowledge of bespoke joinery materials, finishes, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings
- Experience with project management tools and CAD software is an advantage

- Experience in high-end residential or luxury fit-out projects
- Familiarity with CNC production and modern joinery machinery
- Knowledge of local building regulations (e.g., UAE standards if applicable)
