Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders and align them with client requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate construction activities and monitor progress against schedules and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure quality.
• Control project costs and manage change orders.
• Conduct site inspections, identify risks, and check safety and regulatory compliance.
• Track project performance and report status, milestones, budgets, and risks to stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, permits, drawings, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Conduct project meetings, enforce safety and building-code compliance, evaluate outcomes, and guide the project team.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction project management experience and a record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Knowledge of DM, DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel, JAFZA, or DSO authority rules and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Project planning, organization, prioritization, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, project drawings, and construction schematics.
• Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation software.
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.

Preferred qualifications

• High-rise building experience is preferred.
• PMP or LEED certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects in Dubai is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 22,000–25,000 per month.
