Role overview

Project delivery

• Manage construction projects from initiation, planning, and execution through monitoring and closeout.
• Define objectives, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders and align them with client requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate construction activities to meet schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Work with clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and change orders to support cost-efficient, timely delivery.

Site, reporting, and team leadership

• Conduct site inspections, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Track project indicators and provide status, milestone, budget, and risk updates to stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, permits, drawings, and change-order documentation.
• Hold meetings, address challenges, and maintain communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Enforce safety protocols and local building code compliance.
• Evaluate projects, identify improvements, implement corrective measures, and guide the project team.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant construction project management experience, with successful on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Knowledge of applicable Dubai authority rules, construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and construction schematics.
• Strong project planning, organization, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and cost estimation software.

Preferred qualifications

• High-rise building experience is preferred.
• PMP or LEED certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects in Dubai is preferred.
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications is requested.

Pay

• Pay is AED 18,000 to AED 22,000 per month.
