Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Utilities and/or Telecom to lead and oversee large-scale projects in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management activities across utilities and telecom projects
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in line with quality, scope, and budget requirements
- Supervise and coordinate project execution, including internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and delays
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across project processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of
- 20 years of experience in Project Management
- , within Utilities and/or Telecom industries
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 is a plus)
- Must currently hold a
- valid UAE Golden Visa or Freelance Visa
- Willing to work
- onsite in Abu Dhabi
- for the duration of the contract
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on projects within the Middle East, particularly UAE
- Strong understanding of utilities infrastructure (power, water, energy) and/or telecom networks (fiber, 5G, infrastructure rollout)
- Experience managing multi-vendor or cross-functional technology/infrastructure programs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact project environment
