About This Role
Planning & Getting Work Started
1.Plan every stage of the project so work flows smoothly from start to finish.
2.Work with the planning team to create clear programs and timelines.
3.Make sure manpower, equipment, and materials are organized and ready on site when needed
Main Contact for Clients & Consultants
1.Be the main point of contact for the client, consultant, and any other parties.
2.Attend site and progress meetings, sort out any issues quickly and professionally.
3.Make sure work is done as per contract scope, drawings, and specs.
Keeping Work on Track
1.Monitor daily progress and compare it to the approved schedule.
2.Spot delays or risks early and find practical solutions to avoid bigger problems.
3.Keep senior management updated with clear reports on progress, site issues, and any needed actions
Budget & Costs
1.Keep an eye on the project budget and control site spending.
2.Approve site purchases and variations within agreed limits.
3.Work with the cost control team to catch any overruns early and manage costs wisely.
Quality of Work
1.Make sure the work done on site matches approved drawings and meets quality standards.
2.Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and handle any snags quickly.
3.Ensure all completed work passes consultant or client checks without delays.
Health & Safety
1.Enforce all site safety rules and make sure the team works in line with HSE guidelines.
2.Carry out regular safety walks and site checks.
Keep safety awareness strong among all workers and subcontractors
Managing Subcontractors & Suppliers
1.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to make sure work and materials are delivered on time.
2.Approve subcontractor work and payments based on actual progress.
3.Tackle any delays, disputes, or performance issues firmly and fairly.
Site Records & Reporting
1.Keep clear records of site activities, approvals, drawings, and daily reports.
2.Prepare and send regular updates to the client and head office.
3.Support claims, variations, and close-out with proper documentation.
