Project planning and management
- Plan, coordinate, and manage interior fit-out and construction projects from commencement through handover.
- Develop project schedules, work programs, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
Technical and site supervision
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers.
- Supervise site activities for compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate civil, architectural, MEP, joinery, flooring, ceiling, and finishing works.
Approvals and compliance
- Coordinate submissions, inspections, permits, and approvals with relevant authorities and consultants.
- Ensure project execution complies with Qatar regulations, safety requirements, and approved technical documents.
- Maintain relevant engineering registration and professional documentation.
Cost and contract management
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and subcontractor performance.
- Review progress claims, material requirements, and variation orders.
- Coordinate with the commercial team on costs, payment applications, and contractual obligations.
Quality, safety, and handover
- Implement quality control procedures and monitor site safety.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate defect rectification.
- Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover.
- Ensure required completion documents, warranties, and as-built drawings are submitted.
Client and team coordination
- Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project risks and delays.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
- Maintain communication between the client, design, commercial, and site operations teams.
Pay
- Pay is from QAR 7,500 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Requirements
- Project Manager with a UPDA certificate for work in Qatar; the appropriate registration category depends on qualifications, experience, and approved classification.
- Able to plan and manage interior fit-out and construction projects against approved drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Able to coordinate consultants, clients, subcontractors, site engineers, and project personnel.
- Able to ensure project execution complies with Qatar regulations, safety requirements, and approved technical documents.
