About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery from concept and FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop project execution strategies and governance frameworks aligned with ADNOC VAP/GVAP.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for compliance with ADNOC codes and standards.
• Manage tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation and award, variations, claims, and change orders.
• Direct construction, fabrication, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and site supervision.
• Lead PMT/IPMT and multi-discipline teams, and mentor UAE Nationals in support of Emiratization objectives.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and EAC reviews; report progress to senior management.
• Engage ADNOC, JV partners, consultants, authorities, and contractors, and secure regulatory approvals.
• Enforce ADNOC HSE and QA/QC requirements; lead incident investigations and audits.

Requirements

• 20 to 25 years of project management experience in DBOOM, DBO, or EPC within oil and gas.
• Proven delivery of large-scale onshore or offshore projects for ADNOC or other major operators.
• ADNOC approval or prior ADNOC project execution experience, including VAP/GVAP and ADNOC standards.
• Strong knowledge of FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and O&M integration.
• Expertise in project controls, cost management, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration.
• Experience managing multinational contractors and PMCs.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
