Underwriting Collective, part of PIB Group, is seeking a Project Management Lead to support project delivery across its underwriting businesses.
The role leads the PM team and also takes on project manager responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope and ensure deliverables meet business requirements and objectives.
- Plan projects from initiation through closeout and deliver within agreed timescales.
- Prepare business cases for projects managed directly.
- Resolve issues, initiate corrective action, and keep projects on schedule and budget.
- Manage change control, configuration management, approvals, and delivery risks.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate clearly, and set expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain PM processes and templates aligned with transformation and central change governance.
- Produce project artefacts including RAID logs, plans, action logs, and impact assessments.
What the employer is looking for
- Project management experience in financial services; insurance experience is preferred.
- Proven project delivery in a financial services or regulated environment and substantial change-management experience.
- Experience with insurance policy administration or claims systems such as Acturis, Applied, SSP, or Aquarium Software.
- Experience mentoring and developing a team, applying project management methodologies, and managing full project lifecycles in business and IT.
- Collaborative, proactive, customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder rapport and ability to manage changing priorities.
