Etihad Water & Electricity subsidiary for infrastructure development is a leading developer infrastructure projects including power and water.
We are focused on delivering major infrastructure projects across the GCC and CIS regions, spanning Conventional Power, Environment, and Renewable technologies.
We are looking for Project Finance professionals to support our growth initiatives and lead financing activities across infrastructure and utilities projects in key markets such as the Middle East and CIS region.
The role will drive end to end debt raising processes including lender engagement market sounding and execution through to financial close.
The role involves leading financial structuring modelling and negotiations while managing relationships with banks DFIs ECAs IFIs and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead debt raising and financing processes for energy, water, and infrastructure projects across MENA and CIS.
- Manage financing transactions from lender engagement through to financial close.
- Lead market sounding exercises and engage with commercial banks, ECAs, DFIs, IFIs, and other financing institutions.
- Act as the primary interface with lenders and coordinate all financing-related due diligence activities.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of financing agreements and related transaction documentation.
- Develop and review project finance financial models, financing structures, and risk assessments.
- Provide analytical support for discussions with senior management, shareholders, lenders, and project partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, financial institutions, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or Financial Advisory.
- Experience with a developer, financial institution, bank, or leading advisory firm.
- **Proven track record of executing at least one project-financed transaction through to financial close.**
- Strong project finance modelling and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of project finance documentation and lender requirements.
- Experience working with commercial banks, ECAs, DFIs, and IFIs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
