Role overview

Impact and responsibilities

• Develop and implement control system solutions according to customer technical specifications, standards, and engineering practices.
• Create concepts and project specifications for complex customer requirements in collaboration with suppliers and customers.
• Perform software engineering, third-party system integration, hardware planning, and control cabinet production monitoring.
• Perform functional tests, optimizations, acceptance activities, and customer delivery.
• Prepare, review, and update project documentation.
• Support technical bidding and collaborate with the bidding team.
• Report on project execution, team performance, and key developments, escalating relevant information to management.

Qualifications and experience

• A qualified professional with 10-12 years of experience across project, service, and bidding functions is required.
• A Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, or a similar field is preferred.
• At least 8-10 years of Siemens DCS/SCADA PCS 7 engineering and commissioning experience is required.
• The candidate should have completed project cycles for major customer installations.
• Experience taking technical lead responsibilities and managing automation subprojects is required.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity concepts and OTCC customer deployments is required.
• Intercultural experience and willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 40% of the time are required.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of Siemens products, automation and digitization solutions, third-party integrations, and competitor interfaces is required.
• Sound knowledge of AI-based platforms is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Work arrangement

• The company states a global standard of two to three days of mobile working per week.
• The role requires frequent travel to customer sites for deployment, approximately 40% of the time.
