Project Engineer – LPG Gas Infrastructure

Role overview

Project delivery and stakeholders

• Develop execution plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
• Oversee design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing, and handover.
• Coordinate engineering designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams; lead meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Liaise with Civil Defence, Municipality, ADNOC, MOIAT, and other authorities for approvals and regulatory compliance.

Commercial control, reporting, and HSEQ

• Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Prepare progress reports, management dashboards, and project status updates.
• Ensure HSE compliance, promote a safety culture targeting zero lost-time incidents, and uphold QA/QC standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in LPG gas projects or the broader oil and gas industry.
• Experience managing LPG installations in residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
• Demonstrated success delivering multiple projects against safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.

Relevant technical areas and certifications

• Knowledge of LPG gas distribution systems, storage tank installations, central gas systems, and pressure regulating systems.
• Experience in engineering design coordination, project planning and scheduling, cost estimation and budget control, and CAPEX and OPEX management.
• PMP certification is preferred; NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is also preferred.
