Project Engineer III

About This Role

Summary This position is accountable for Engineering Coordination and managing all Engineering Interfaces.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• To prepare engineering execution plan as part of Project execution plan & present to discuss the same with all concerned before being finalized
• To update the engineering execution plan continuous basis with life cycle of project
• To organize on time Contract review (Technical requirements) with all disciplines
• To organize on time internal kick off meetings on projects
• To expedite for time execution of engineering in line with engineering schedule & report to PEM/PM
• Prepare Engineering Deliverable List, Purchase Requisition List and IDC Document Distribution Matrix
• Maintain various log & registers i.e. Issue Log, Hold List, DCN Register, Comment Resolution Sheet Record, Concession Request Record, Technical Query Record
• To coordinate and support various studies related to engineering
• Continuously monitor the engineering progress and report to PEM/PM
• To interface with all discipline team on day to day basis
• To organize approval process of documents as required
• To prepare the weekly and monthly progress reports
• To prepare the balance activity list and prioritize the same according to project criticality path
• To interface with document control on day to day basis to ensure the Master document register and Vendor document registers are updated on daily or weekly basis.
• To organize meetings with customer and vendors for clarifications keeping project management team in loop.
• To expedite release of on time procurement requisitions
• Be responsible to make quick quality checks on deliverables being released to customers or manufacturing
• Interface with internal customers such as project management, manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance & controls
• To manage the on time procurement requisitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of work experience with a minimum of 5 years in similar position with EPC or Detail Engineering Organizations.
