Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, nuclear, or related engineering discipline, or graduate of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. Ability to travel between company, vendor, and client sites as required in U.S. and abroad. Ability to obtain nuclear power plant access as required. Excellent attention to detail and capable of producing error-free documents. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of applied mechanics and heat transfer principles. Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely fashion with minimal supervision. Experience with engineering software tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, and SolidWorks U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status. 5-10 years relevant industry experience Previous nuclear power plant experience including responsible engineer qualification per the standard design process (IP-ENG-100) preferred 50.59/72.48 qualification preferred A Generation Ahead by DesignTM Investing in people who power the future.
