Project Engineer
About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software to develop accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and production-ready designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, project, and production teams to translate concepts and client requirements into manufacturable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities on site
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work progress as per schedule
- Review drawings, specifications, and material requirements
- Support procurement by preparing material take-offs, technical submittals, and approvals
- Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements
- Prepare progress reports, site records, and technical documentation
- Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues
- Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and support production documentation.
- Modify and optimize existing designs based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with sales and project teams to understand client specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards and industry regulations.
- Support manufacturing team during fabrication and installation stages.
- Perform basic engineering calculations when required.
- Maintain organized documentation of design files and revision
