Project Engineer – Civil, Pools & Landscape

Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise civil, pool, water feature, hardscape, and landscape works; manage daily site activities and coordinate consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules; review construction drawings, BOQs, submittals, and project requirements.
- Supervise excavation, grading, concrete, waterproofing, drainage, paving, tiling, coping, and finishing works.
- Coordinate pool structures, pump rooms, balancing tanks, filtration systems, water features, and interfaces with landscape, irrigation, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Monitor progress, labor, materials, equipment, productivity, and resources; inspect work and ensure quality execution.
- Coordinate approvals, inspections, testing, snagging, commissioning, and handover; resolve technical and site issues and monitor subcontractor performance.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project records; coordinate authority and consultant approvals and ensure compliance with UAE requirements, HSE standards, and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4–6 years of UAE experience in civil, landscaping, swimming pool, or water feature projects.
- Strong experience in civil construction, hardscape, swimming pool construction, water features, and external works.
- Knowledge of concrete, waterproofing, drainage, paving, tiling, coping, and finishing works.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents; experience coordinating project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong site management, project coordination, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge, a UAE driving license, and experience with a UAE landscaping or swimming pool company are preferred.
