Project Engineer – Landscaping, Swimming Pools & Water Features

Project Engineer role

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise civil, swimming pool, water feature, hardscape, and landscaping works.
• Manage daily site activities and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Review construction drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Supervise excavation, concrete, waterproofing, drainage, paving, tiling, coping, and finishing works.
• Coordinate swimming pool structures, pump rooms, balancing tanks, filtration systems, and water features.
• Coordinate civil works with landscape, irrigation, and MEP teams.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources; inspect work quality.
• Coordinate material approvals, inspections, testing, snagging, commissioning, and handover.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues, monitor subcontractors, and support timely completion.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports; coordinate consultant and authority inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6 years of UAE experience in civil, landscaping, swimming pool, or water feature projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, hardscape, swimming pools, water features, and external works.
• Good understanding of concrete, waterproofing, drainage, paving, tiling, coping, and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Good site management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is preferred.
• A UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Experience with a UAE landscaping or swimming pool company is strongly preferred; immediate joiners are preferred.
