The campaign promotes the “Not in our name” letter and engages supporters through online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Set and refine organizational goals and coordinate outreach initiatives.
- Manage online platforms to engage supporters and promote the campaign letter.
- Build partnerships with allied organizations and guide communications and messaging.
- Support volunteers or contributors as needed; monitor campaign metrics and identify opportunities for greater impact.
- Ensure campaign activities reflect inclusion, respect, and non-discrimination.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience guiding projects, campaigns, or small initiatives.
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion, trans+ rights, and social justice or human rights advocacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear, inclusive public messaging.
- Experience with social media, email campaigns, online petitions, and basic online community management.
- Ability to work independently remotely, manage time effectively, and balance responsibilities part-time.
- Comfort collaborating respectfully with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Non-profit, grassroots organizing, or advocacy experience is beneficial but not required.
