Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee advocacy initiatives, digital outreach, and partnerships with aligned people, organizations, and communities.
• Manage supporter updates, social media, and public statements, keeping messaging clear and aligned with campaign goals.
• Coordinate volunteers or collaborators and review progress on key activities.
• Identify opportunities to expand awareness and impact; monitor social and policy developments and adjust strategy.
• Represent the campaign in online and, when necessary, virtual public forums.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to transgender, non-binary, and broader LGBTQ+ rights and inclusive practices.
• Leadership, campaign management, or community-organizing experience, including project and volunteer coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear, compassionate, persuasive messaging.
• Proficiency with digital outreach tools such as social media, email campaigns, and website or blog platforms.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment, accountability, and discretion.
• Advocacy, nonprofit, or public relations experience is beneficial but not required.
• Openness to feedback, willingness to learn, and ability to build respectful, collaborative relationships.
