Role description

Responsibilities

• Define and refine campaign goals and oversee communications and public messaging across digital platforms.
• Coordinate volunteers and collaborators, develop partnerships, and represent the campaign in online and occasional virtual events.
• Oversee fundraising and resource allocation, maintain alignment with organizational values, and track advocacy progress.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion, gender equity, and anti-discrimination advocacy.
• Leadership, organizational management, or community-organizing experience in nonprofit, grassroots, or campaign settings.
• Skills in strategic planning, project coordination, measurable goal setting, public messaging, social media, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours, and make timely, values-aligned decisions.
• Comfort collaborating respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and identities.

Beneficial background

• Remote collaboration tools experience is highly beneficial.
• Activism, social justice, gender studies, or a related background is a plus; equivalent lived experience and commitment are also valued.
