The part-time Coordinator of Volunteers organizes, supports, and engages volunteers for SEG-SGA UNLP Student Chapter activities.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid role based in Dubai, combining on-site coordination with work-from-home tasks.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard volunteers for chapter activities.
- Schedule and assign tasks for events and outreach activities, and maintain clear communication with volunteers.
- Design and deliver basic volunteer training, ensure volunteers understand project goals, and monitor participation and feedback.
- Collaborate with chapter leadership on community outreach initiatives.
- Document volunteer hours and prepare brief activity reports.
Qualifications
- Ability to coordinate volunteer management and volunteer training activities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and support diverse volunteers.
- Experience or interest in community outreach and student or community engagement projects.
- Organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time hybrid role.
- Comfort working in multicultural environments; experience in academic or non-profit settings is ideal.
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and online collaboration platforms.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
- Previous volunteer coordination experience or involvement in student organizations is preferred.
