Project Engineer

The role coordinates daily local order fulfillment for assigned projects and supports quotations, engineering analysis, layout and mechanical design, and operations.

The Project Engineer develops products, technologies, and customer-specific solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
The role coordinates daily local order fulfillment for assigned projects and supports quotations, engineering analysis, layout and mechanical design, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute multiple customer projects; coordinate with Engineering and obtain customer drawing approvals.
- Advise production on specification deviations, waivers, and related activities.
- Lead production planning meetings to communicate product requirements, specifications, and timelines across departments.
- Review technical documentation against customer requirements and suggest modifications as needed.
- Prepare test plans, evaluate test results, and optimize and standardize product lines.
- Coordinate internal departments to deliver products on time under agreed terms and conditions.
Preferred experience and skills
- Microsoft Office and CAD proficiency, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor, are listed as preferred.
- ANSYS knowledge, including CFD or FEA, is a plus.
- Industrial development and design experience and understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing are listed.
- Communication, collaboration, self-direction, and ability to work with minimal supervision are listed as preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge is a plus.
Education and experience
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or 0–2 years of relevant experience is specified.
