Project Engineer

Role summary

Project execution responsibilities

• Understand technical and commercial contract requirements and book orders after review.
• Coordinate material orders with buyers and expedite with suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Submit technical documents for client approval and obtain customer approvals for drawings.
• Coordinate bank guarantees and progress-payment invoices with Finance.
• Arrange shipments and complete post-order documentation with relevant functions.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and freight forwarding as needed.
• Ensure orders ship within contractual delivery timelines.
• Advise Production on specification deviations and waivers.
• Run production-planning meetings to share product requirements, specifications, and timelines across relevant departments.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred experience and skills

• An engineering degree in mechanical, production, or instrumentation engineering is preferred.
• Candidates with a diploma and 10+ years of project-management experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of related valve-industry experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and exposure to global customers are preferred.
• Collaborative, self-starting approach; ability to work with minimal supervision; effective verbal and written communication are preferred.
