Project Engineer

Role overview

Project responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and coordinate with current and potential clients; support business development activities.
• Coordinate project requirements among factory, site teams, clients, and internal departments; monitor projects through completion.
• Supervise supervisors, foremen, and site activities; monitor project progress and production schedules.
• Coordinate proposals, quotations, and tender submissions with the Technical Support Team.
• Coordinate client matters involving procedures, claims, quality, progress, and project status.
• Coordinate fabrication, materials, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for porta cabins and interior fit-out work.
• Monitor deliverables against approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards; escalate issues and delays.
• Coordinate site, manufacturing, technical, procurement, and project management teams and support quality, safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Support ISO requirements and customer satisfaction; participate in training and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent education, training, and practical experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction, interior fit-out, contracting, manufacturing, or related project operations.
• Experience in interior fit-out, construction, or porta cabin/modular building projects is advantageous.
• Business Management or Project Management background or additional qualification is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong project coordination and supervision skills; knowledge of construction, interior fit-out, schedules, quality, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design or visualization software; advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, industry practices, performance standards, and ISO requirements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; able to work under pressure, manage priorities, and take initiative.
