Role Overview
Project Engineer reporting to the Project Manager for the Middle East region and based in Dubai.
Supports project management, design and execution, and presales/estimation for Security Systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct territory site surveys and coordinate subcontractors for installation work.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Monitor compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Engage clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Determine cost estimate targets during design and development and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Produce professional client and internal documents and prepare official client/vendor communications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a similar discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum 6–8 years of project engineering experience executing low-voltage physical security systems projects in the UAE.
- Comprehensive knowledge of large physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, intercom, gate barriers, and intrusion systems.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, team management, influencing, analytical, planning, costing, and execution skills.
- Clear understanding of contractual documents and obligations; strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Able to produce high-quality professional documents for clients and internal use.
Work Location
- Role is based in Dubai and includes site surveys and field representation.
