Project Coordinator – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

Work arrangement

• The role is in person, with UAE site and factory visits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical, commercial, and schedule matters among customers, manufacturers, and panel builders.
• Prepare, submit, and track GA drawings, SLDs, datasheets, type-test reports, QA/ITP, and MDR for approval.
• Follow up on comments, maintain comment-resolution sheets, and escalate delays.
• Run weekly progress calls, keep minutes and action logs, and track documents, procurement, manufacturing, FAT, and delivery.
• Review technical queries, deviations, and clarifications for consistency with the offer.
• Coordinate factory inspection, FAT, and delivery.
• Flag variations and cost-impact items to the Business Unit Director.
• Support bids by reviewing RFQs and material requisitions, preparing compliance matrices, collecting vendor inputs, and drafting technical query responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• At least five years of UAE experience in electrical or panel manufacturing, including LV switchgear or MCC exposure.
• Vendor-document approval experience on EPC, ADNOC, or consultant-led projects.
• Working knowledge of IEC 61439, IEC 60947, and ADNOC/EPC vendor-document practices.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with strong technical writing skills for client comment responses.
• Strong Excel, MS Office, and document-control skills; ability to work independently across multiple parties.

Preferred qualifications

• ADNOC vendor-project experience, type-tested switchgear knowledge, Arabic skills, ISO 9001 documentation experience, and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred.
