The role requires hands-on UAE experience in events, exhibitions, site installations, client coordination, and project execution.
Event project coordination
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, suppliers, and on-site teams.
- Conduct site visits to review layouts, access, installation requirements, and logistics.
- Supervise event installation and dismantling activities.
- Coordinate staging, lighting, AV equipment, décor, exhibition booths, branding, and other event structures.
- Prepare project schedules, installation plans, timelines, and checklists.
- Ensure materials, manpower, and equipment reach the site on time.
Delivery and reporting
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, budgets, and on-site activities.
- Ensure installation follows approved designs, technical specifications, safety requirements, and client expectations.
- Resolve technical and operational issues during installation and event execution.
- Assist with proposals, BOQs, work schedules, and project documentation.
- Provide regular project updates and post-event reports to management; maintain professional client communication.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of UAE experience in events, exhibitions, project coordination, production, or site installation.
- Strong knowledge of event structures, staging, lighting, AV systems, rigging, décor, and exhibition booths.
- Experience coordinating clients, suppliers, contractors, and on-site teams.
Technical and work requirements
- Ability to understand technical drawings, layouts, and BOQs.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office; CAD or SketchUp knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to manage several projects and installations at once.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and at different project locations within the UAE.
- English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–7,000 per month; the posting also states a salary of AED 5,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person and involves site visits and different project locations within the UAE.
