An experienced Fire Watcher is sought for a one-month project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The project is scheduled to start on 14 October 2026.
Workplace
- The role is based in person at the Abu Dhabi project site.
- The successful candidate must be able to work at the site for the full one-month assignment.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect assigned areas for fire hazards and report unsafe conditions.
- Maintain continuous fire watch during designated hot-work activities.
- Monitor surrounding areas exposed to sparks and heat.
- Keep suitable fire-extinguishing equipment accessible.
- Stop work and notify the supervisor when unsafe conditions arise.
- Raise the alarm and follow site emergency procedures.
- Use extinguishing equipment only within training and safe operating limits.
- Continue monitoring after hot work for the period required by the site.
- Complete fire-watch logs and checklists where required.
Requirements
- Previous Fire Watcher experience; the posting specifies two years as required.
- Fire Watch/Hot Work Safety and fire extinguisher training certificates are required, subject to client or site approval.
- Ability to understand safety instructions and communicate emergencies clearly.
- Available to start on 14 October 2026.
- Able to work at the Abu Dhabi site for the full one-month assignment.
Compensation
- Expected salary for the one-month assignment is to be discussed based on experience.
- The pay field states AED 2,000–3,500 per hour; expected hours are no less than 9 per week.
- Working hours, accommodation, transportation, and payment arrangements will be confirmed before engagement.
