Project Controller (m/f/d)

Your Mission

Key Responsibilities

• Own financial monitoring and commercial controlling for assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans, forecasts, cash flow projections, reports, and management updates.
• Monitor actual and committed costs, analyze deviations, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Advise project teams on budgets, cost development, profitability, financial risks, assumptions, resources, and purchasing needs.
• Monitor revenue, invoicing schedules, payment milestones, supplier commitments, purchase orders, and variations.
• Support project closing, account reconciliation, monthly and year-end closing, accruals, and provisions.
• Improve controlling processes, reporting standards, templates, and tools while maintaining complete documentation.

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Relevant experience in project controlling, commercial project management, financial controlling, or a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of budgets, cost monitoring, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of IFRS, project-related accounting, revenue recognition, and project financial assessment.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and provide clear recommendations.
• Structured, accurate, reliable, proactive, and comfortable managing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with financial, accounting, or ERP systems.
• Project-based experience in events, construction, technical production, exhibitions, or a related industry is advantageous.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional language skills are advantageous.
