Project Control Manager

Role description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project control plans and coordinate with project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project risks and issues and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare regular progress and financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and support procurement and contract administration activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote project governance best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong project leadership skills and ability to guide teams and stakeholders toward project objectives.
• Proven experience working with project managers to execute project plans and manage resources.
• Planning and scheduling capability, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• Expertise in project control, performance monitoring, risk management, and corrective measures.
• Proficiency in project management principles, methodologies, and tools relevant to construction and quantity surveying projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with ability to work in a hybrid, multicultural environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Academic background in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Built-environment experience in cost management, contract administration, and procurement is highly beneficial.
• Membership or eligibility for membership with GhIS or a similar professional body is an advantage.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid arrangement combines on-site and work-from-home activities.
• Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
