About Cultivator

Cultivator, powered by Conexus, is a Saskatchewan tech incubator supporting founders as they start, build, grow, and scale companies.

Its portfolios include START, BUILD, GROW, and SCALE programs, as well as the AGTECH ACCELERATOR.

Since 2019, Cultivator has worked with over 100 companies and reports more than $115 million in private capital raised.

Role overview

The Program Manager will lead the AGTECH ACCELERATOR portfolio from Cultivator’s College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The role develops, refines, and delivers programming aligned with Cultivator’s strategy and supports agtech founders bringing solutions to market.

How you will spend your time

  • Research, develop, and regularly update programs to provide impact and value to startups.
  • Develop and deliver robust programs aligned with leading accelerator standards and founder, environmental, and market needs.
  • Source and recruit high-caliber participants and drive engagement in programs and ecosystem activities.
  • Maintain a founder-first approach throughout program development and execution.
  • Support Program Coordinators with program deliverables and produce reports for stakeholders.
  • Establish processes for accurate documentation and metrics tracking; manage program portfolio budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a curated network of expert mentors for startups.
  • Represent Conexus and Cultivator at business and technology community events.

Experience and qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in a small business or entrepreneurial-related field.
  • Five years of experience in a program manager or similar role.
  • Incubator or accelerator program management experience is an asset.
  • Agriculture experience is ideal.
  • A strong understanding of agriculture, agtech startups, and the challenges of scaling agricultural innovation is described as ideal.

Candidate profile

  • Strategic, collaborative, and motivated, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to innovation and curiosity.
  • Experience in program management and understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Able to build high-impact programs and meaningful relationships and lead with a founder-first mentality.

Salary

  • Salary range is $80,729–$100,911 with a 10% short-term incentive target.
