Role Description
This is a contract-based Azure Cloud Professional role based in Doha, Qatar, with a hybrid work setting that allows a blend of on-site and remote work.
The professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Daily responsibilities include deploying cloud-based applications, maintaining virtual machines and networks, managing data storage solutions, and supporting cloud governance policies.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to deliver effective cloud infrastructure and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including cloud services, storage, and virtual networking
- Experience with cloud operations, security management, and disaster recovery strategies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or C#
- Experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools for cloud environments
- Solid understanding of IT project management and system integration principles
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in cloud-based systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator Associate are a strong advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams
