Direct setup and operation of a rolling mill producing finished billets, bars, and coils in various sizes and shapes.
Supervise production performance, product quality, and continuous improvement of crew performance.
Production responsibilities
- Improve yield, wreck rate, dimensional tolerances, and surface quality of hot-rolled products.
- Assist in developing setup parameters for new products.
- Apply management expertise to improve efficiency and achieve operational objectives in the assigned area or department.
Experience and education
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operational environment, or equivalent experience determined by department management.
- Posting states seven years of total experience, including three years on the job and one year in the GCC.
- College-level education in a related field or a related technical certificate.
Knowledge and competencies
- Practical understanding of industrial and manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.
- ERP knowledge is required; SAP functional skills are preferred.
- Competencies listed include resilience, quality, leadership, workflow integration, quality and safety, SAP production, agility, technical drawings, AI fluency, and cost reduction studies.
