The Production Operator supports daily manufacturing and production activities.
The role operates machinery, handles materials, monitors product quality, and supports production targets while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Production and equipment duties
- Operate production machinery, equipment, and tools according to established operating procedures.
- Perform production activities to meet schedules, output targets, and quality requirements; prepare materials, components, and equipment.
- Monitor machine operations and processes, and conduct basic inspections to identify defects, irregularities, and production issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control requirements.
- Clean machines, perform routine maintenance and equipment checks, and report breakdowns or abnormalities to supervisors.
Safety, records, and coordination
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the production area; follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Record production output, material usage, machine performance, and inspection results.
- Assist with packing, labeling, handling, and storage of finished products.
- Coordinate with production supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve issues; support improvements to productivity, waste reduction, and product quality.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- One to two years of relevant manufacturing or production operations experience is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production machinery, and workplace safety procedures.
- Able to operate machinery and follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or production abnormalities.
Work capabilities and communication
- Able to stand for extended periods and handle materials when required.
- Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and committed to maintaining quality standards.
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team; basic communication and teamwork skills are expected.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, or flexible schedules when required.
- Basic English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
