Ensure reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations while optimizing performance, managing resources, and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily power generation operations and develop operational strategies, maintenance plans, and performance improvements.
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; monitor efficiency, equipment reliability, and generation output.
- Ensure safety, environmental, and operational compliance; lead operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Manage budgets, manpower, procurement, and resource allocation; identify risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate inspections, troubleshooting, shutdowns, and major maintenance; liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Prepare operational reports and performance analyses; improve reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8–10 years of power generation or plant operations experience, including relevant management experience.
- Strong knowledge of power generation systems, plant equipment, maintenance practices, safety, environmental management, and risk control.
- Experience managing plant operations, engineering teams, and maintenance activities; ability to manage budgets, resources, and performance targets.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant plant management or monitoring systems; strong written and spoken English.
