Production Manager – Joinery
About This Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily production activities in the joinery workshop
- Supervise carpenters, machine operators, and finishing teams
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and project specifications
- Coordinate with design, project management, and procurement teams
- Monitor material usage and reduce waste
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery (CNC, panel saws, edge banders, etc.)
- Implement and enforce health & safety regulations
- Track production progress and prepare reports for management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in joinery production or woodworking manufacturing
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of joinery processes, materials, and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE
- Familiarity with production planning software
- Technical diploma or degree in woodworking, engineering, or related field
