Production Assistant – Finishing

Role Overview

Job Description

• Carry finished printed label rolls from the printing machine to the slitting machine.
• Assist the operator by monitoring production work.
• Package finished products for shipping by boxing and labelling them.
• Palletize finished goods for dispatch.
• Move waste from the assembly line to dumpsters.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when it is not in use.
• Perform other assigned duties, including core cutting.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Diploma in Printing Technology or an industry-related qualification is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to be efficient, focused, alert, and eager.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Functional Competencies

• Ability to carry out packing and palletizing effectively and dispatch finished goods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Workplace

• The role involves physical production, packing, palletizing, equipment, and assembly-line work at the Dubai production site.
