Join a leading digital-first banking organization in Abu Dhabi undergoing a large-scale transformation across its customer-facing platforms.

We are looking for experienced Product Owners to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of high-impact digital banking products, with a strong focus on mobile banking experiences and customer onboarding journeys .

This role is ideal for a product professional who can combine business acumen, customer-centric thinking, and strong technical collaboration to deliver scalable and seamless digital solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to define product direction, drive delivery, and ensure measurable business impact.

You will play a key role in shaping next-generation digital banking experiences , aligning customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives within a highly regulated financial environment .

This is a contract role with strong potential for extension , supporting mission-critical digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog , ensuring clear prioritization aligned with business goals and customer value

• Define and drive the product roadmap , translating vision into epics, features, and user stories

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality features in Agile (Scrum) environments

• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery execution

• Ensure seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams (design, engineering, business, and compliance)

• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and data insights to continuously improve user experience and customer journeys

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and product vision

• Identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth product delivery

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, governance standards, and internal policies

• Support UAT, release planning, and go-live activities

Role Focus Areas

Product Owner – Mobile

• Own and enhance mobile banking applications and digital customer experiences

• Drive feature development focused on usability, performance, and engagement

• Optimize end-to-end customer journeys across mobile platforms

Product Owner – Onboarding

• Own customer onboarding journeys including account opening, KYC, and identity verification flows

• Balance compliance requirements (KYC/AML) with seamless user experience

• Continuously optimize onboarding conversion, speed, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in digital banking, fintech, or financial services

• Strong experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Jira, backlog management)

• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver digital products end-to-end

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, roadmap planning, and customer journey design

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience working in regulated environments (banking / financial services)

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile applications (for Mobile role)

• Experience with onboarding, KYC, AML, or account opening journeys (for Onboarding role)

• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation programs

• Experience working within UAE banking environment or similar regulated markets
