Product Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and market needs
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the POS industry
• Roadmap Development: Create and manage a product roadmap that prioritizes features based on customer needs, market demands, and business objectives
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure timely and successful product launches
• User Experience & Design: Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the customer experience
• Agile Product Development: Lead the product development process using Agile methodologies, ensuring that sprints are well-defined, achievable, and aligned with the product roadmap
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their pain points and gather feedback, using these insights to guide product decisions
• OKRs & Metrics: Define and monitor OKR’s to measure product success, user adoption, and customer satisfaction
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update senior leadership and other stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and opportunities
• Innovation: Identify and explore new technologies, trends, and features that can keep our POS software ahead of the competition

Requirements And Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on SaaS products; experience in POS software is highly preferred
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and software development processes
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for users and a strong desire to solve their problems through innovative solutions
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
• Agile Experience: Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in a product management role
• Problem-Solving: Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action
