We are looking for a
Product Manager
with strong experience in digital products, B2B financing, lending, credit, and fintech.
This person will help define and lead key product initiatives across Qawafel’s financing and digital platform.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will own product strategy, discovery, prioritization, and delivery for core Qawafel products.
You will work closely with leadership, engineering, design, operations, risk, compliance, and business teams to build products that serve companies, lenders, and internal teams.
This role requires strong product judgment, fintech understanding, and the ability to work with complex financial workflows such as onboarding, credit assessment, underwriting, financing requests, approvals, repayments, and risk controls.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for key Qawafel products.
- Translate business goals, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements.
- Lead discovery with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Define product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Work closely with design and engineering to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Build and improve workflows related to B2B financing, lending, credit, onboarding, underwriting, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure products are practical, compliant, and scalable.
- Prioritize features based on business value, user impact, technical complexity, and risk.
- Analyze product data, user behavior, funnel performance, and operational bottlenecks.
- Help create scalable product processes as Qawafel grows.
Requirements
- Mid-level product management experience, preferably in fintech, lending, banking, credit, or B2B financial services.
- Experience building and managing digital products from discovery to launch.
- Strong understanding of B2B financing, lending products, credit products, or financial workflows.
- Understanding of underwriting, credit risk assessment, borrower evaluation, and financing approval processes.
- Ability to work with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, and business teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to make structured product decisions.
- Experience writing clear PRDs, product specs, user stories, and product documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SME financing, invoice financing, supply chain finance, embedded finance, or lending marketplaces.
- Experience with Saudi fintech, banking, or financial regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with SAMA requirements, credit scoring, KYC/KYB, AML, and risk controls.
- Experience working in startups, scaleups, or fast-moving product teams.
- Strong understanding of B2B user behavior and operational finance workflows.
