About This Role
Job Purpose
The Product Manager will be responsible for the creation, managing and achieving of the assigned countries' Marketing Plan for a specific products' portfolio in a defined therapy area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Formulates and drives local marketing business plans to achieve the therapy area objectives as well as the company objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with Medical and Market Access teams to develop and execute sustainable product launch strategies.
- Capable of identifying unmet medical needs and being able to create initiatives and projects to improve patients' lives.
- Anticipate market and relevant therapy area dynamics and proactively propose initiatives while adopting new strategies and tactics to improve performance and diseases area practices.
- Establishes relationships and collaborates with key opinion leaders and organizations, like patient associations, health care professionals' associations, to drive appropriate changes in clinical policy and practice standards to improve patients' lives.
- Marketing resource planning with efficient allocation.
- Align with the local and regional business partners to translate the global products' strategies into local plans, driving the performance of the products portfolio in the defined region.
- Ensures highest ethical standards in day-to-day practices.
Qualifications
- University degree of pharmaceutical or medical sciences.
- Business or Marketing postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Considerable experience with successful track records in the Saudi pharmaceutical industry, with at least Five years of it in a marketing management position.
- Experience in Oncology is a definite plus.
- Strong marketing and business acumen with well-proven track record of success. Having created and executed marketing initiatives.
- Problem solving skills, able to analyze situation & identify rising issues, seek solutions, and provide options for decision making.
- Strong commitment to timelines and task achievements.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment and quickly learn new skills and technologies.
- Capable in working autonomously, adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Elite presentation skills and leading group discussions with ability to persuade and/or negotiate effectively internally & externally.
- Have been recognized as effective teammate.
- Tendency to exert extra miles' smart efforts to achieve the area and the franchise goals.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of his/her time.
- Commitment to ethical conduct in all interactions and decisions.
- Valid Saudi Commission For Health Specialties License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong command of English language.
- Valid Driving License.
