Overview
As a Procurement Specialist, you will evaluate the needs and requirements of various organizational units, conduct market research to achieve optimal pricing from suppliers, and oversee the receipt of bids from service providers.
You will also build a comprehensive database of material prices and suppliers, prepare relevant documentation and specialized reports related to procurement activities.
Main Responsibilities
1.
Assess the needs and requirements of various organizational units and prioritize procurement strategies accordingly.
Conduct specialized studies and analyses to ensure the best purchasing prices from suppliers while maintaining quality standards in line with established policies and procedures.
2.
Oversee the processes and procedures for receiving bids from service providers and evaluate them in coordination with other administrative units, ensuring compliance with established procurement procedures.
3.
Build a database of frequently consumed material prices and key suppliers, maintaining comprehensive records of various procurement activities in accordance with the established system.
4.
Prepare specialized documentation and reports related to procurement and provide appropriate recommendations and solutions, ensuring they are stored in a dedicated database in compliance with established policies and procedures.
