Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Specialist role based in Dubai.
The Procurement Specialist will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
The role involves evaluating and maintaining a reliable supplier base, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring supplier performance to meet project quality and budget requirements.
The Procurement Specialist will collaborate closely with design, project management, and finance teams to forecast material needs, optimize inventory levels, and align procurement schedules with project timelines.
This position also includes maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing cost data, and supporting process improvements for efficient sourcing and purchasing operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong procurement skills, including experience in managing Purchase Orders and core Procurement activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Supplier Evaluation and performance monitoring to build and maintain a reliable vendor network.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to assess costs, compare bids, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or related industries is beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional project teams.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in procurement or ERP software are advantageous.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
