Procurement Senior Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sourcing strategies and align them with cost, risk, and scalability objectives.
• Lead RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand demand, risk profiles, and cost drivers.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, contract terms, liability, service-level frameworks, and risk protections with Legal.
• Ensure contracts meet compliance, data privacy, security, and regulatory obligations; standardize contracting practices.
• Partner across IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, Risk, and business leadership, influencing without direct authority.
• Support third-party security, privacy, and compliance reviews; monitor supplier performance, commercial compliance, and renewals.
• Deliver savings, value creation, and risk reduction; support budgets, demand management, and forecast accuracy.
• Improve sourcing processes and supplier outcomes; guide and mentor junior team members.
• Perform other assigned duties and comply with company policies and standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Typically 12–15 years of progressive strategic sourcing or procurement experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Strong experience sourcing and negotiating IT, professional services, and facilities.
• Proven complex supplier negotiation and contract-structuring experience.
• Deep experience partnering with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and Compliance.
• Experience in highly regulated, services-led industries.
• PEO, ASO, HR services, payroll, benefits, or SaaS-enabled services experience is preferred.
• Experience with ADP, Rippling, Insperity, Paychex, or similar organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with HR and payroll ecosystem regulatory, data privacy, and security considerations is preferred.

• Executive-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business acumen and confidence engaging senior leaders.
• Ability to balance commercial outcomes with risk and compliance requirements.
• Structured, data-driven decision-making and pragmatic collaboration in matrixed organizations.
