The employer seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Officer / Procurement Engineer for construction procurement.
The role is based in Abu Dhabi and work is in person.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, tools, and services; request and evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules; prepare purchase orders and follow up on approvals and deliveries.
- Coordinate material requirements with project managers, site engineers, and store teams.
- Review BOQs, material specifications, and project requirements; maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of procurement experience in the construction industry; construction experience of at least 2 years is required.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction materials, supplier sourcing, and procurement procedures.
- Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,000–5,000 per month.
