Overview
We are seeking a
Procurement Officer - Emirati
to support the Group Procurement function by handling day‑to‑day purchasing activities across DAS Holding and its subsidiaries.
The role ensures timely sourcing of goods and services at optimal cost and quality, while strictly complying with Procurement Policies and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in line with approved authority limits and procurement procedures.
- Obtain and analyze quotations from approved suppliers to ensure competitiveness and value for money.
- Prepare quotation comparison sheets and supporting documentation for review and approvals.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to clarify technical specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per agreed terms.
- Monitor deliveries and report delays, shortages, or quality issues to the Line Manager.
- Maintain accurate and complete procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure full compliance with Procurement Policies & Procedures and internal governance requirements.
- Support supplier onboarding, documentation, and coordination with Finance for invoice processing.
- Assist in identifying cost‑saving and process improvement opportunities within procurement operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- **2 years**
- of relevant procurement or purchasing experience .
- Experience in quotation sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchase order processing.
- Familiarity with ERP or e‑Procurement systems is an advantage.
