Job Description

• Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Review all vendors and suppliers
• Maintain purchase records and other important data
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities
• Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
• Documenting and tracking all purchase orders, invoices, and contracts
• Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
• Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
• Work with team members to complete duties as needed
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitive pricing

• High school diploma
• Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Understanding of the industry in which EuroTech operates
• Arabic Speaker, preferred but not required
