Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Procurement Officer will oversee purchasing and procurement processes, including sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities
include preparing and reviewing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring the timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods and services.
The role will also involve maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders and expertise in Procurement and Purchasing processes
- Strong Contract Negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess costs, supplier performance, and market trends
- Understanding of best practices and policies in procurement operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
